Connecticut Schools Get $542 MIllion In Federal Stimulus Money

HARTFORD -- The state will received nearly $542 million in federal stimulus funds which Gov. M. Jodi Rell said will be distributed to local school districts.
Approximately $2.8 million of the money will finance a teacher mentoring program.

Details of how the other money will be disbursed and how much each of the 169 municipalities will receive were not available Sunday night.
